BreachGuard

BreachGuard is a free credit card loss prevention software for home and business users. It runs on your computer and protects you from potential online ID theft by preventing clear-text transmission of credit card numbers in real time. It can prevent  accidental leakage of credit card numbers via webmail, (Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail) instant messaging, FTP, SMTP. BreachGuard can also scan and locate insecure storage of credit card numbers in files (doc, xls, txt, ppt, rtf, xml, html ) by scanning hard disks, portable storage devices, USB flash drives, CD and DVD.

BreachGuard can detect VISA, Master Card, American Express, JCB, Discover and Diners Club credit cards.

To protect your privacy only the last four digits of the credit card number(s) are logged for reporting purposes by the software. All the notifications and alerts are logged to a password protected log file which is secured using strong military grade AES-256 bit encryption.

BreachProbe

BreachProbe is a free software for Computer Forensic Investigators. It  extracts credit card data and network session information from pcap files and parses the raw captured data for offline forensic analysis. BreachProbe will let you import pcap files captured from tcpdump, wireshark or any other sniffer that supports the PCAP file format. BreachProbe can be used for investigating online ID theft or credit card theft incidents.

The program exports the parsed data to a log file and automatically generates a SHA256 hash of the exported data. Only the last four digits of the credit card number(s) are stored in the log file.

BreachProbe can extract VISA, Master Card, American Express, JCB, Discover and Diners Club credit cards from pcap files.
